Group booking

Bookings are essential for general, vacation and outside school hours care group visits. To make a booking please complete the booking form below. Your booking is not confirmed until you receive your written Booking Confirmation. It may take up to five working days to respond to your request during peak booking periods. Should you not receive a response within this time please contact the Bookings Officer via email or phone (07) 4726 0600 between 9.30am - 4pm Monday to Friday.

Please see COVID Safety and Acknowledgement of Entry Conditions below for changes in our procedures in compliance with Queensland Government’s COVID-safe Roadmap to Recovery. There may be restrictions to maximum group sizes to allow for social distancing. These can be discussed with the Booking Officer during the booking process.

Payment options

Invoicing for your booking can be issued on the day of your visit or sent to your organisation’s postal or email address after your visit. Cash or card payment can also be accepted on the day and will be arranged by the Visitor Services Officers at the front admission desk.

COVID safety and acknowledgement of entry conditions

The museum operates under a COVID Safe plan, which can be downloaded from our website. Your booking confirmation will also include details of any COVID safety measures and contact tracing processes specific to your visit.

  1. Your booking is not confirmed until you receive your written Booking Confirmation. It may take up to five working days to respond to your request during peak booking periods.   2. The Museum of Tropical Queensland does not accept responsibility for the damage or loss of goods left on the premises prior to, during or after a booking.
  3. Notice of Cancellation: We require written notice to cancel or reschedule a booked group visit. Please contact the museum via email to cancel or reschedule your booking. Rescheduling of bookings is subject to availability.
  4. Final confirmed number of guests is required seven (7) days prior to the visit.
  5. Prices: All prices listed include GST where applicable. Please be aware that all prices are subject to change.
  6. Bookings made with less than two (2) days notice cannot be guaranteed placement.
