North Queensland schools are invited to take advantage of the latest travelling exhibitions at Museum of Tropical Queensland. 

Ancient Rome: The Empire that Shaped the World

Now on until 14 November 2021 
Ideal for: Year 7, 11 & 12 Ancient History

Students can journey back in time to the Roman era with this interactive exhibition showcasing incredible art, machines and technology. 

Antiquities Revealed

Now on until 7 November 2021
Ideal for: Year 7, 11 & 12 Ancient History

Schools can discover some of the extraordinary objects within Queensland Museum's collections. The exhibition features over 150 objects from ancient Greek, Roman and Egyptian civilisations.

Free teacher preview event - register now!

Wednesday 9 June | 3-4pm

We are welcoming teachers and educators back to the museum with a special teacher preview of Antiquities Revealed and Ancient Rome exhibitions.

Teachers will get an opportunity to view the exhibitions, discover learning resources to use in the classroom and connect with other teachers and our Learning Officer.

Free visit for educators

Free entry is available for Queensland teachers for planning preparation and to make the most of their group’s learning experience. To redeem your free admission, just show your teacher ID on arrival. Entry prices apply for family members and accompanying guests.
