Travelling exhibitions for schools

North Queensland schools are invited to take advantage of the latest travelling exhibitions at Museum of Tropical Queensland. 

Guided Introduction: Ink in the Lines

Availability: 27 August to 23 October 2022 (excluding weekends and school holidays)
Audience: Years 10-12
Duration: 45 minutes per session. Larger groups will require rotations.
Curriculum: English | HASS | Modern History | Visual Arts

Students will take a guided tour through the Australian War Memorial’s travelling exhibition Ink in the Lines. Facilitated by the Learning Officer, students will be introduced to the key themes of the exhibition and guided to ask questions and explore specific highlights of the exhibition that link to their classroom learning in depth. The program concludes with free time for students to explore and engage with the varied tattoo designs and stories of defence community members presented in the exhibition.
