Join us for a roarrring day with live shows, discovery zones and fun activities for all dino fans big and small. We're bringing back some of our most popular activities from over the years to collide in one giant event of prehistoric play and learning!
All activities and special events are free with Museum admission.

SPECIAL EVENTS
Palaeo Fossil Preparation Lab | 9.30am – 2pm
Meet Museum palaeontologist Dr Espen Knutsen, touch and work on real fossils in the lab and view others under microscopes. *Participants must wear closed in shoes. Age restrictions apply.
T-Bone the Teenage T-Rex | Various times
Has escaped! See him roaming the Museum throughout the day.
Dinosaur Story and Craft Time | 9.45am and 11am
Meet Baby T-Rex! Give his feathers a pat, take a photo and learn all about these Cretaceous carnivores. Ideal for kids aged 6 and under.
Dinomite Shows | 10.30am and 1pm
Meet the Dinomite the Allosaur – a roaring, charging, pooing dinosaur – in this fun, interactive show.
