Free Entry for Locals Day

Tuesday 13 November | 9.30am-5pm

As well as a wide range of interactive exhibitions and displays, everyone can enjoy a full day at the Museum with these special activities and talks:

- Families can start their day with Beau's Buddies at 9.45am. Designed for children under six years of age, this led-activity starts with a new object being revealed and discussed. Children learn about object, hear a related story and join in craft activities.

- Listen to esteemed local historian Dr Dorothy Gibson-Wilde OAM when she discusses 'Townsville's Pioneering Women' in the Discover More talk at 12pm.

Entry is free to the Museum on Tuesday 13 November for Townsville, Burdekin, Charters Towers and Hinchinbrook residents as part of the monthly 'Free for Locals Day'. Proof of residency required. Entry is also free for Annual Pass holders.
