The Museum of Tropical Queensland is part of the Queensland Museum, a dynamic statewide organisation that enriches the cultural, social and intellectual life of Queensland communities.

Our diverse team of almost 300 people features scientists, historians, customer service staff, designers, conservators, administrators, photographers and librarians.

Being a volunteer is a very rewarding way to become involved with the Museum. Volunteers are a vital part of our operations as they help to ensure our visitors' experience is an unforgettable one. The Museum currently offers several types of volunteer work for adults of all ages, interests and skill levels.
